14 days until departure
It's probably super annoying because I keep repeating it, but in 14 days (2 weeks), I'll be saying goodbye to Toronto, and Hello to Lima.I spent the entire week buried in my books, while I have only one exam left, this one is the one I've been dreading all year. I've never had such a challenging, fulfilling, frustrating, amazing course all in one. International Law has been one of the greatest courses of my university career yet.
From amazing professors (Micheal Bryant and Irvin Studin, and yes, it is THE Micheal Bryant), to 200-pages chapters a week and a million court cases to read, I'm finally nearing the end of it all. I can't wait to just get this last exam over with, and start 100% planning for the trip. I've been telling myself that i'll make a list of things to buy, but I've been stalling the process, most likely because I don't want to begin. Starting a list makes the entire process real, and that means leaving home, family, friends, hubby, and my puppy ( how can you leave this sweet little pup !!) . Ps. He's turning 3 tomorrow! and NO, I don't throw puppy birthday parties, that's just lame! Thankfully, CT will help my family take care of him while I'm away.

Now that we've finally figured out how to pay for the machu picchu trip ( a grand total of $865 for a 5-day ), seems like everything involved with $$ is completed. Now I can focus on getting my shit together !
The one thing I'll miss the most while I'm away...? the insane bubble tea. CT and I have had bubbletea 3 times this past week. It's pure insanity.
Ciao for now, CT and I are about to snuggle up and watch The Biggest Loser for the rest of the night!
