Preparing for an epic adventure

In about two weeks, a few friends (RP and BF) and I will be jetting off to Peru for the month of May.  This blog will be my attempt to stay in touch with friends and family in Toronto!  I will be documenting my travels from start to finish (or at least try to).  We leave May 6th and return on June 3rd, just in time to attend CT and my sister's convocation. Despite my nervousness going into this experience, I hope to learn new things, and meet new people and widen my perspective on life.

 While I'm in the middle of finals at the moment, I've began to prepare the basics for the trip.  Last thursday, IY, CT and I met up at Fresh for lunch ( I had their amazing Buddha Bowl), and journeyed to MEC for some travel supplies.  After an hour of fun in the store, I purchased a capsule wallet, money belt, new backpack and a luggage lock. CT has been stocking me up with gear from LLL and I promise you, that it will be the only thing I'll be wearing the whole time.  It has to be the comfiest clothes to travel with, while looking fly at the same time! (and I dare anyone else to challenge this!). 

I still have many things to buy and prepare, but finals are really slowing me down.  It's hard to wrap my head around that I'll be leaving in two weeks, but let the countdown begin! 

I have been daydreaming about getting my tan and adventures on for the past week, but for now, back to the books!
